Spurs seeking win in Baroka meeting

Cape Town Spurs will have another chance to grab points in the Motsepe Foundation Championship when they take on Baroka FC at the Athlone Stadium.

Kick-off is at 19h30 CAT.

The Urban Warriors will be eager to win this encounter as they haven’t picked up three points in a while.

Baroka are 12th on the log, and Spurs are just behind in 13th position. 

The away team has undergone changes, with Joel Masutha taking up the position as the new head coach of Baroka FC. 

Masutha was introduced to the players and other officials after the team’s league game against Leruma United at the Global Stadium in Lebowakgomo last Saturday. 

Baroka beat Leruma United 3-1.
