Warriors held by Baroka in MFC
Cape Town Spurs were held to a 1-1 draw in their most recent Motsepe Foundation Championship match against Baroka FC at the Athlone Stadium on Friday evening.
The Urban Warriors went ahead in the first half through Enock Atta Agyei in the 11th minute.
The half-time score was 1-1 as Baroka equalised just before the break, with Clyde Combi getting his name on the scoresheet.
The second stanza saw both teams fight to get the winning goal, but none were able to convert as the match ended with one goal a piece.
The result is a disappointing one for Spurs who went ahead first but found themselves having to share spoils in Cape Town.
