Spurs step up preparations for EKC

Cape Town Spurs have stepped up their preparations for the highly anticipated 2025 Engen Knockout Challenge.

The Western Cape leg of the Engen Knockout Challenge will take place at the Erica Park Sports Ground in Belhar between 11 and 13 July.

Spurs are in Group A, where they lock horns with Rock A Fellas, Everton FC, and Juventus AFC as the four teams battle for spots in the knockout phase.

Engen Communications Manager, Gavin Smith, has revealed the campaign message for the 2025 tournament.

“The Engen Knockout Challenge has become a trusted space for young talent to rise,” Smith said.

“This year’s message, ‘It’s Your Moment, Future Diski Legends’, speaks to every player with a dream.

“We’re proud to offer a platform that not only scouts talent but also builds confidence, character, and hope,” he continued.

“Fans can expect top football, but also moments that remind us why this tournament matters beyond the pitch.”

The winners of the tournament will represent the Western Cape at the Engen Champs of Champs later this year.
