Spurs eye Coca Cola semi-final spot

Cape Town Spurs will be in action in the SAFA Cape Town Coca Cola Amateur Cup quarter-finals this weekend.

The Urban Warriors are set to go head-to-head with Hanover Park on Sunday as the two teams battle for a semi-final spot.

Spurs booked their place in this stage of the under-18 division after facing FN Rangers St Agnes in the Round of 16 earlier this month.

They emerged as 3-0 winners over Rangers with Hlumani Lupuwana, Aqeel Hess and Fagan Van Der Vint all hitting the back of the net.

Hanover, on the other hand, reached this stage after drawing 1-1 with Green Point Salesian FC and they went on to win 4-2 on penalties.

The other quarter-final matches will see Kalksteenfontein AFC lock horns with Valhalla United on Sunday.

Everton will square off with Rockafellas FC and Eyethu FC are set to battle it out with Ubuntu Football Academy.
