Urban Warriors ease into Coca Cola semi-finals 

Cape Town Spurs are one of the four semi-finalists in the 2025 SAFA Cape Town Coca Cola Amateur Cup.

This comes after the Urban Warriors emerged as 2-0 winners against Hanover Park in the under-18 tournament quarter-finals over the weekend.

Likhona Fatyela and Hlumani Lupuwana found the back of the net for Spurs in a match played at the Khayelitsha Stadium in Cape Town.

The team was without one of their key players, Aqeel Hess, who is part of the South Africa squad at the ongoing CAF Under-17 Africa Cup of Nations | COSAFA Qualifiers 2026 in Zimbabwe.

The promising defender was on the score sheet when the Urban Warriors thrashed FN Rangers St Agnes 3-0 in the Round of 16 in Grassy Park, Cape Town, earlier this month.

SAFA Cape Town will soon announce details for semi-final matches, with four teams set to battle for the two spots in the final.
