Spurs coach honoured after clean sweep

Cape Town Spurs academy coach Masibulele Tshangisa Sukaze was honoured at the 2025 Cape Town Tygerberg gala dinner.

Spurs under-14 mentor scooped the Junior Coach of the Year and Special Award accolades as a reward for his excellent work in the 2025 season.

Sukaze led the Urban Warriors to glory in the Trinitarians Tournament, Cape Town Tygerberg LFA league and Cape Town Tygerberg LFA Knockout challenge.

Spurs under-14 side also reached the Kapstadt Cup final last month and Sukaze masterminded a 4-2 victory over De Beers at the Athlone Stadium, where the team lifted the trophy.

This is not the first time Sukaze has completed a clean sweep this season, as he also won all the trophies that were available during the 2023 season.

There is no doubt that in Sukaze, Spurs have among the top youth coaches in South Africa as he continues to nurture, develop and produce winners.
