Spurs and Ubuntu share spoils in Ikamva

Cape Town Spurs remain unbeaten at home in the 2025/26 ABC Motsepe League Western Cape Stream A campaign.

This comes after the Urban Warriors drew 1-1 with Ubuntu Football Club at Ikamva in a matchday three fixture on Saturday, November 29.

Colin Ryan gave the hosts the lead when the 29-year-old attacking midfielder hit the back of the net four minutes before the half-hour mark.

Coach Nasief Morris’ side were leading 1-0 at the interval, but Ubuntu fought back after the restart and the match ended in a 1-1 stalemate.

As a result, Spurs have picked up four points from their first three matches in the ABC Motsepe League Western Cape Stream A.

The Western Cape giants started the season with a 3-1 win over Zizwe United at home, then lost 2-0 to Young Bafana away and drew with Ubuntu.

Morris and his charges will be on the road this week as Urban Warriors are scheduled to lock horns with Seaside Spurs on Friday.

The match is scheduled to be played at the Ocean View Sports Complex.
