Unlucky Spurs held by Seaside

Cape Town Spurs were held in their latest fixture in the 2025/26 ABC Motsepe League Western Cape Stream A campaign.

The Urban Warriors drew 2-2 with Seaside Spurs at the Ocean View Sports Complex in a matchday four fixture on Friday, December 5.

Coach Nasief Morris’ side saw a 2-1 lead slip away as 10-man Seaside fought back to ensure that the match ended in a stalemate.

The two teams were locked at 1-1 during the half-time break, with Jaydan Petersen having hit the back of the net for the visitors.

Sonwabile Mfecane handed the Urban Warriors a 2-1 lead, but the hosts managed to snatch the equalising goal, which saw the game end in a draw.

Aphelele Nzwanga and Luto Tom scored for Seaside on the night as the two teams produced a four-goal thriller to entertain the supporters. 

Morris and his charges will be back at home this week as Urban Warriors are scheduled to play host to Seapoint Swifts on Saturday.

The final match of the year 2025 is set to be played at Ikamva.
