Hope edge Spurs in Ikamva

Cape Town Spurs suffered a narrow defeat in their latest fixture in the 2025/26 ABC Motsepe League Western Cape Stream A season.

The Urban Warriors were narrowly beaten 1-0 by Hope FC (Seapoint Swift) at Ikamva in a matchday five fixture on Saturday, December 13.

A first-half goal earned the visitors the victory in what was the final game of the year 2025 and the South African third tier will now head into a recess.

Coach Nasief Morris’ side are placed ninth in Stream A standings, having accumulated five points from five matches.   

Spurs are eight points behind the log leaders, FN Rangers, and the Urban Warriors will be looking to close the gap when the league resumes next month.

The Urban Warriors will be on the road as they take on Junction Rovers on January 23 at the Heideveld Sports Complex.
