Spurs’ first five fixtures in 2026 

Cape Town Spurs are set to resume their 2025/26 ABC Motsepe League Western Cape Stream A campaign later this month.

The Urban Warriors are currently placed ninth in Stream A standings, having accumulated five points from five matches.   

We take a look at Spurs’ first five fixtures in the New Year, 2026;

Junction Rovers

Spurs will resume their league campaign with an away match against Rovers at the Heideveld Sports Complex on January 23.

Rovers are placed 10th in the standings, having accumulated three points from five matches, and their only win came against Hanover Park on matchday one.

Hanover Park

The Urban Warriors are scheduled to play host to Park at Ikamva in their second game of the year on January 31.

Park are occupying the fifth spot in the standings, having collected eight points from five matches.

HBU FC

A trip to the Hout Bay Sports Complex would then follow, with Spurs expected to take on HBU in their maiden fixture in February.

HBU find themselves sitting in sixth place with seven points from five matches and they will host the Urban Warriors on February 7.

FN Rangers 

Coach Nasief Morris’ side are set to play host to the current Stream A log leaders, Rangers (13 points, five matches), on Valentine’s Day, February 14.

Rangers are one of the two teams that remain undefeated this season, but Spurs will be looking to change this when they meet at Ikamva.

Inter City 

The Urban Warriors will travel to the Wynberg Military Base, where they are scheduled to take on rock-bottom City on February 21 in their fifth match in 2026.

City have collected just two points from five matches and they are the only team yet to win a single game this season.
