Spurs target Premier win in Hanover Park

Cape Town Spurs will take on Premier United in the SAFA Cape Town Hollywoodbets Regional League match on Saturday.

The matchday 11 fixture is scheduled to be played at the Downsberg Sports Complex in Hanover Park. Kick-off is at 15h00.

Spurs were narrowly beaten 3-2 by Silver Spurs at home in their most recent league game, which was played Saturday, January 17.

Therefore, the Urban Warriors are placed 13th in the league standings, having accumulated 11 points from 10 matches.

A victory over Premier would elevate the coach Andrew Herman-led Spurs side into the top eight if other results go the way this weekend. 

Meanwhile, Premier suffered a 2-1 defeat to Goals 50 United away in their most recent league match, which was played on Friday, January 16.

As a result, the Hanover Park side are occupying the fourth spot in the standings, having collected 20 points from 10 games.

This will be the first meeting between Spurs and Premier this season.
