Dominant Spurs blow Premier away

Cape Town Spurs were in their element during their SAFA Cape Town Hollywoodbets Regional League match against Premier United on Saturday.

The Urban Warriors proved too strong for Premier as they emerged as 6-1 winners in a matchday 11 fixture played at the Downsberg Sports Complex in Hanover Park.

It was a match which saw Zaheer Adriaanse hit the back of the net on three occasions to earn an impressive hat-trick on the day. 

While Likhona Fatyela, Bakhe Sopaqa and Alistair Frans also put their names on the scoresheet as Spurs recorded their fourth victory of the season.

Therefore, the Urban Warriors are now placed ninth in the Cape Town Hollywoodbets Regional League standings with 14 points from 11 matches.

The Andrew Herman-led Spurs side will be in action this weekend as they play host to Jomo’s Power AFC at Ikamva on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 15h00.
