Urban Warriors gear up for Zizwe test

As the 2025/26 ABC Motsepe League Western Cape Stream A campaign rolls on, Cape Town Spurs will now turn their attention to Zizwe United in a clash set to commence at the Nyanga Stadium on Saturday.

Kick-off is scheduled for 14:00.

Spurs will head into their next tie on the back of a 2-0 defeat against First National Rangers, a result that came after a run of five consecutive victories in the league.

As it stands, Spurs occupy fourth position on the Stream A standings, after accumulating 30 points from 15 matches played.

While the battle for top spot continues, Spurs trail log leaders Hout Bay United by a mere two points as the club pushes on for promotion.

The Urban Warriors won each of their last two matches against Zizwe United, with the latest being a 3-1 victory on 29 November 2025 at home.

In the result prior, Spurs grabbed a 2-0 win on 19 October 2024 on away soil.
