Tercious Malepe: Pirates must brace themselves for a battle

Ajax Cape Town midfielder Tercious Malepe has sent out a stern warning to Orlando Pirates, ahead of our Absa Premiership clash against the Buccaneers on Wednesday evening.

Kick-off at Cape Town Stadium is set for 19h30 CAT.

The Urban Warriors are in desperate need of three points and Malepe, who is on-loan from the Sea Robbers, is excited for the challenge the Soweto giants will pose.

“We are looking forward to the game, I am very motivated to do well,” said Malepe.

“I am happy to be with the Urban Warriors, I’ve really enjoyed my time here.

Malepe continued: “Orlando Pirates are a very good team, we just need to apply by the coach’s instructions and I am sure we will surprise them.

“It is an important game for us, all we need to do is show character. It won’t be an easy game and they can expect a difficult game. We want all three points.

The 20-year-old has swiftly established himself as a favourite among the supporters and the former Amajita skipper is eager to repay the club’s faithful with another solid shift in midfield.

“For the fans, thank you for sticking with us during this tough time,” Malepe added. “Only way we can thank them [the Ajax Cape Town fans] now is with a run of good results.

“I am a fighter, the Pirates players must be ready for a battle on Wednesday,” he concluded.
