Muhsin Ertugral: We need to be more clinical
Ajax Cape Town head coach Muhsin Ertugral has called on his troops to be more efficient in front of goal.
The Urban Warriors suffered a 2-0 defeat to Orlando Pirates in a Nedbank Cup Round of 32 clash this past weekend, as the Buccaneers gained their revenge over Ertugral’s troops following a 3-0 victory for the Cape side in a league fixture late last month.
“It is important that we take our chances, we are a team that has a certain degree of possibilities and we have to play to our strengths,” said Ertugral.
“In the end, I can be very happy about what I saw in the first 30 minutes against Pirates. We need to be a little more clinical like what we did the last match against them and that would have changed the game to another level.”
Next up for Ajax Cape Town is an away clash at the Princess Magogo Stadium KwaMashu against Golden Arrows on the 25th of February. The Absa Premiership fixture is set to kick-off at 15h30 CAT.
