Coach Andries loving the support

This weekend was a great weekend for the #UrbanWarriors from foundation to the seniors as we won all of our fixtures in style.

The most noticeable change is the amount of fans that are coming out to support Ajax Cape Town’s youth squads. Last week coach Andries Ulderink called for fans to support our ABC Motsepe team in their fixture against D&G Orient on Friday evening, Coach Ulderink believes in the Ajax system and this means believing in youth players.

It’s important to see players BMT (Big Match Temperament) this requires a large fan base so we (Ajax staff) can see whether the player is ready for a step up. Some of the first team staff were watching the game & just as predicted our ABC squad were able to pick up a 3-1 win over the opponent which is very positive for Ajax as a club.

This result was the start of a good weekend as we won all of our fixtures:

U12 Won 5-3 against Stellenbosch

U14 Won 6-4 against Stellenbosch

U16 Won 5-0 against Stellenbosch

U18 Won 2-1 against Stellenbosch

ABC  Motsepe Won 3-1 against D&G Orient

NFD team Won 3-1 against TS Galaxy
