In reaching the top of the Motsepe Foundation Championship table this week, form at home has been the bedrock of Cape Town Spurs’ push for a PSL promotional finish. 

Often reiterated by coach Shaun Bartlett, the Urban Warriors made the most of home ground advantage in the 2022/23 campaign. Following Spurs’ 3-2 win against Baroka FC on Tuesday, Bartlett and his troops recorded their 10th straight victory on their own patch. 

Spurs scored 21 goals during this period and benefited from the fine form showcased by the likes of Ashley Cupido, Therlo Moosa and Boitumelo Radiopane.
