The Urban Warriors returned to Athlone Stadium this week in their first home game of the new season. Despite having an impressive record on home soil, it was Sekhukhune United who eventually bagged maximum points on the night.
With the game tied at 0-0 at half-time, Spurs looked solid in and out of possession and came close to scoring before the half-time break.
Nonetheless, second-half goals by Edwin Gyimah and Chibuike Ohizu saw Babina Noko walk away with the victory in Athlone.
