Maduna and Kamagi delighted to join Urban Warriors

Cape Town Spurs latest signings Sphesihle Maduma and Gadiel Michael Kamagi have expressed gratitude and are looking forward to exciting times ahead after joining the club in the January transfer window.

Speaking about his first day at the club and how he was feeling Maduna started off by thanking the Urban Warriors for giving him a chance to join the team.

“I was welcomed well and it’s a home away from home. So far, everything is perfect and I’m willing to make an impact in the team,” he said.

“As a player, I am determined to help the team from its current position and take us to a much safer place.”

Maduna also said that he is convinced that the team has a number of great players and the games ahead will be won, to aid in preventing a loss of the team’s PSL status.

“My target is to score more goals and keep on working hard, so that the team will progress and be on the safe side,” he added.

The Urban Warriors also acquired the services of Tanzanian full-back Gadiel Kamagi who was also very happy to join the team.

According to Kamagi, he always wanted to play his football in South Africa so the move is very ideal for his career aspirations.

“I think South African football is much better, that’s why I wanted to come here,” he said.

“I want to remain in a good position in the league with Cape Town Spurs and want us to be comfortable.”

Kamagi also gave a message to the fans of the club, saying that their support is essential in making sure that they get the right results going forward.
