Next up, Venda Football Academy

After returning the winning column in the Motsepe Foundation Championship last time out, Cape Town Spurs will now turn their attention to Venda Football Academy in their latest league test.

Following a frustrating run during the last couple of months, the Urban Warriors bagged a much needed three pointer against Highbury on the 28^th of February.

Spurs were made to work for their points at the Athlone Stadium, as two comeback goals by Mervin Boji and Therlo Moosa sent the technical area into a state of pure relief.

Also, the Urban Warriors could record a league double over Venda Football Academy next Tuesday. Spurs claimed a 1-0 win against Venda in their first league assignment, which took place on the 30^th of August 2024.

As it stands, Spurs head into their next Motsepe Foundation Championship game in 14^th position.
