Moosa finishes season as Spurs top scorer

Cape Town Spurs striker Therlo Moosa concluded the 2024/25 season as the club’s top scorer.

The experienced player found the back of the net seven times in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, having made 23 starts for the Urban Warriors.

Moosa also scored in each of the two matches he played in the Nedbank Cup, netting against Venda FC and SuperSport United.

Overall, the former Mamelodi Sundowns forward netted nine goals in 29 matches across all competitions, including 25 starts in the 2024/25 campaign.

Since joining Spurs ahead of the 2022/23 season, Moosa has hit the back of the net 24 times in 90 competitive matches, including 67 starts.

His 11 goals in 28 matches (20 starts) helped the Urban Warriors win the 2022/23 Motsepe Foundation Championship.

Therefore, the Mother City side clinched direct promotion to the PSL Premiership as the South African second-tier champions.
