The Urban Warriors reached the knockout phase of the competition after finishing at the top of Group A standings, having collected seven points out of a possible nine.
A 3-0 victory over Rock A Fellas was followed by a 0-0 draw with Juventus FC and a 1-0 win over Everton, which earned Spurs a spot in the quarter-finals.
However, the Urban Warriors were narrowly defeated 1-0 by the SAFA Cape Town Academy in a quarter-final encounter on July 12.
The team bounced back with a 1-0 victory over Norway Parks in the positional playoff game on July 13 before taking on Everton on the same day.
Spurs wrapped up their 2025 Engen Knockout Challenge campaign with a 1-1 draw with Everton, who won 5-4 on penalties in the fifth-sixth place playoff match.
The Urban Warriors gained some invaluable experience from the annual tournament and they will be back stronger next year.
